Hard cheese DŽIUGAS Piquant, ripened for 18 months, is a cheese of average ripening, which reveals a harmony of intense flavours. Its deep spicy taste is enriched with subtle notes of dried fruits. A delicate cracking is created by individual crystals of calcium saline showing the new stage of cheese maturation to have started. The cheese is distinguished by a hard yellow matted rind with a tinge of green.
