Džiugas Exclusive is produced from the milk of free-range happy cows. The highest quality milk determines the quality and special value of our hard cheese.
Milking is followed by the ripening stage, which requires not only the cheesemakers’ experience, skills and exceptional patience, but also their love and attention. The harmony of time and collective human effort is especially important for Džiugas Exclusive, which takes so long to ripen. The product developers, monitoring the maturing cheese, also take care of other important nuances – the entire ripening process is surrounded by the music of the famous Lithuanian composer Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. They say that the cheese, ripened with classical music, is particularly tasty.
